The South Laurel pep band is one of the finest bands in the region and is an integral element of the game day atmosphere at South Laurel. The pep band attends both regular season and tournament games, providing upbeat, energetic stand tunes during time-outs and halftime breaks. The pep band is most active during boys and girls basketball season, though they also attend home football games in the fall where they are known to give halftime shows of their marching band program. 

Members of the pep band are passionate about showing their support to South Laurel athletics and love to show their enthusiasm alongside the Cardinal Crazies, the school’s student pep section.
